  • i attached encoder`s channel A to digital Pin 2 on arduino which is interrupt 0. Commented May 31, 2015 at 6:34

    Also, you could chnage the init order in your setup() to first Serial.begin(...), that would give time for serial init before triggering encoder interrupts. Commented May 31, 2015 at 6:56
