There was a typo: change ledOnAfterTimeTheshold to ledOnAfterTimeThreshold. I edited the answer as well.imjosh– imjosh2014-05-05 14:18:44 +00:00Commented May 5, 2014 at 14:18

Hi, please read and try to understand the code. Notice that I didn't put any Serial.print() statements, so of course there is nothing happening in the serial monitor. Your questions states that you want the LED to be the indicator and this code should do that. If you want something output in the serial console, add some print statements.imjosh– imjosh2014-05-06 15:51:24 +00:00Commented May 6, 2014 at 15:51

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. arduino-uno), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
