| Apr 11, 2016 at 4:44 | comment | added | ahmad adel | So, what do you advise me to do? Would using an AVR programmer solve the problem? | |

The schematic is a bit hard to read, but it doesn't look like it has a Atmega16U2 chip on it. it suddenly stopped working - sounds like you damaged something, but that chip looks OK, except that it has an unknown bootloader (not necessarily a bad thing).

A screenshot of wiring to test the Atmega16U2chip: Processor = ATmega328P - it's not a Atmega16U2chip is it?

| Apr 9, 2016 at 22:16 | comment | added | ahmad adel | I followed your instructions about that chip testing and I got: ` Atmega chip detector. Written by Nick Gammon. Version 1.18 Compiled on Apr 9 2016 at 23:55:08 with Arduino IDE 10607. Attempting to enter ICSP programming mode ...................................................... Failed to enter programming mode. Double-check wiring! Programming mode off. ` And here's a screenshot of the wiring: link | |

| Apr 5, 2016 at 11:52 | comment | added | ahmad adel | Hi again!, I've an Arduino Uno and tested with and apparently I have a failed ATmega16U2 chip! | |
