  • copy a valid report from a working DS4 ... there are projects on the internet that have 64 byte data captures available ... or try the DS4 library Commented Oct 1 at 17:36
  • @jsotola Isn't that what I've already done taking it from the wiki? Also, the DS4 library is to make an Arduino communicate with, not emulate, a DS4, so how would that help? Commented Oct 1 at 18:43
  • google DS4 arduino ... one of the hits is docs.arduino.cc/libraries/ds4 ... you could try it to see if PS4 "likes" it Commented Oct 1 at 19:11
  • @jsotola Huh, I didn't know of its existence. Unfortunately, it seems it manages to do as much as my core, as the PS4 doesn't recognize it either. Commented Oct 1 at 20:55
  • this site may help ... it has a couple of report data dumps that you could hardcode into your program for testing ... psdevwiki.com/ps4/DS4-USB Commented Oct 2 at 0:33
