There is a minor issue in a code of mb_vsprintf function from viktor at textalk dot com.

In "truncate $arg" section the following line:
  $arg = mb_substr($precision,0,$precision,$encoding);
needs to be replaced with:
  $arg = mb_substr($arg,0,$precision,$encoding);
