The permission seem to fit: the ~/.ssh~/.ssh folder on the local workstation was set to 700700 and ~/.ssh/authorized_keys~/.ssh/authorized_keys on the remote server was set to 600600.

ssh public key authentication fails

I copied my public ssh key to a remote server, but the authentication fails with the following ssh output:

The permission seem to fit: the ~/.ssh folder on the local workstation was set to 700 and ~/.ssh/authorized_keys on the remote server was set to 600.

Do you have any idea, what the problem cold be?
