    @jofel keep in mind that in many systems ssh-copy-id does not exist. @Sriharsha after the mkdir you should add there chmod 700 .ssh too and btw you don't need be so verbose with ~/.ssh, just .ssh is enough since the commands are executed in the home directory anyway Commented Apr 17, 2012 at 18:09
