ASCAP feted composers of the biggest boxoffice film music and the most-performed TV music of 2005 at the performing rights organization's 21st Film and Television Music Awards ceremony Tuesday night at the Beverly Hilton.
'Cronicas' hailed
"Cronicas," Sebastian Cordero's suspense thriller about a crusading TV reporter from Miami who travels to Ecuador to investigate a string of gruesome child murders, won top honors at the second annual Latino DVD Awards, presented Tuesday in West Hollywood.
Underwood hailed
Keith Urban won video of the year and Carrie Underwood of "American Idol" was the only double winner at the Country Music Television awards show Monday.
'December' wins
Lee Toland Krieger's "December Ends" won the City of Calabasas Best Picture Award at the 2006 Method Fest Ceremony, held at the Carlson Family Theater at Viewpoint School in Calabasas as the eighth annual Method Fest Independent Film Festival drew to a close.
