Alaska native plants, insects featured in webinar series

A series of webinars highlighting Alaska's diverse native plants and their uses is scheduled for May, which is Alaska Native Plant Month. The series, available statewide, is a collaboration between the University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service and the Alaska Native Plant Society.

Certified food protection manager classes scheduled

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service will offer three certified food protection manager classes in May and June. The course will cover the material required to pass the National Restaurant Association's ServSafe Manager exam for Alaska.
