There's too much of a risk that you won't do a good job, and a poorly run journal actually makes the world a worse place (even if you are honest and hard working, you can still hurt authors and make a mess of the literature). On the other hand, the question of how people decide how many editors a journal needs is a reasonable and worthwhile question. | |
