5Are you sure you were even allowed to give the extension? I would be extremely surprised to see a syllabus which permits course staff to change due dates on a whim, let alone for a thesis...sapi– sapi2015-05-30 01:39:00 +00:00Commented May 30, 2015 at 1:39

If she made a scene, then I suggest to just fail her. It is just out of the ordinary for a university student to not care about projects/thesis and then get stress out over it. She does need some psychological counseling for sure, probably have depression or something else.Luke L– Luke L2024-07-25 05:15:49 +00:00Commented Jul 25, 2024 at 5:15

1This screams ADHD to me. Get her to a psychologist. This isn't something you can handle. You may also want to explore what disability accommodations your school offers on her behalf.mm201– mm2012025-02-20 20:25:46 +00:00Commented Feb 20 at 20:25

A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
Use tags that describe what your question is about, not what it merely relates to. For example almost every question on this site is eventually related to research, but only questions about performing research should be tagged research.
Use tags describing circumstances only if those circumstances are essential to your question. For example, if you have a question about citations that came up during writing a thesis but might as well have arisen during writing a paper, do not tag it with thesis.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. graduate-admissions), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
