From lid to handle to base, each piece of Infinite Circulon cookware is geared for optimal performance in the kitchen--so home chefs can focus on the art of cooking, not the science. The hard-anodized aluminum bodies and stainless-steel bases with encapsulated aluminum cores offer the dual advantages of rapid, even heating and superior durability. Circulon's TOTAL nonstick system (rated the longest wearing by independent lab tests) features an all-over nonstick coating and a Hi-Low ring design that heats food over the entire cooking surface, but reduces abrasion by allowing only a portion of food and utensils to touch. Also, unlike most nonstick pans, Infinite goes right into the dishwasher so cleanup is a breeze.

This 10-piece set includes 1-1/2- and 2-quart covered saucepans, an 8-quart covered stockpot, a 3-quart covered sauté pan, and 8- and 10-inch open skillets. Cast stainless-steel handles stay comfortably cool on the stovetop and are riveted for extra strength, and the snug-fitting stainless-steel lids are low-profile and substantial. The set's deep charcoal grey and bright mirror-polish combination looks professional yet stylish enough to bring to the table for serving. All pieces are oven-safe to 500 degrees F and can be used with any stove type. Hard-anodized aluminum also doesn't chip, stain, or scratch so the aptly named Infinite will keep its good looks for many years to come. The set is backed with a limited lifetime warranty. --Kara Karll

Bought this set 9 years ago (2009) and have loved them! Far too often pans end up warped, typically from placing them under water too soon when they're still too hot. With these, you have more leeway because of the base being so incredibly thick. Since it is so thick, warm up time takes a little longer and they stay hot longer when removed from the heat, which I like when cooking over high heat and want to slow the heat, I just remove from the heat and food continues to cook at a slower rate. The non-stick surface is fantastic on these if you follow their care instructions. It says you can use metal utensils as long as they're not sharp, but I never do and there's no need to. Silicon utensils work great, so why temp it. They are a beautiful and impressive set, and have received compliments from anyone who has seen them. A lot of, "Wow, these are REALLY nice!" After 9 years, the non-stick surface did start to wear to a point where it was no longer non-stick. This is the point where you find out the "true" value of your purchase, putting in a claim for your "limited" lifetime warranty. I am happy to report, they are good to go! I followed they're instruction, which included a description of my issue and some pics and they came through. Sent them a claim on May 10th, received an email stating my claim would take 2-4 weeks, and received replacement of my 3 pans in 8 days. I was so happy after dealing with terrible customer service on other large purchases I've made in the past. It's always a pleasure to find a company that truly backs their products. I have read others here stating that they didn't make good on the warranty, but I imagine that they must have abused their pans, like leaving them on the stove empty and scorching them. I'm not meticulous about caring for my cookware, but I'm not abusive to it either. See my pics on how they looked after 9 years of tons of use. The damage on the upper portion of the non-stick surface is due to stacking in the cabinet. I hear others place paper towels between them to prevent this, but that's too much work for me haha. This was one that was replaced and the pics they requested. The one thing I wish they had for these is glass lids, as I like to peek in to see how the food is doing without lifting the lid. Other than that, I find this set incredible. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a really nice set of pots and pans. I would buy them again if I lost or damaged them. Thankfully they are good for the warranty, so I don't have to. Thank you Circulon!

    Works on our induction stovetop

We purchased this set to go with our new induction stove. We've been using these for about two months now, and really like them. The pots work well on the stove; no issues with induction. All the foods that we tend to make (roux, pan frying, breakfast stuff) work great in these pans, no issues there. They are fairly heavy, and the build has been sturdy.

The pots themselves clean well (although they say dishwasher safe, we've always just cleaned them after using in the sink) and we haven't had any issues with getting them clean quickly.

The pot handles are metal, and will evenually conduct heat out, so you will probably want an oven mitt for handling. For the most part, they don't really get that hot, but the helper handles near the pot often can be a bit warm.

My only complaint about this set is that it doesn't really have a lot of functionality built in. The two sauce pots are both on the smaller side (1.5 and 2 quart) and I would have preferred a larger one with the set. The 3Q saute pan is nice, we've used it the most. The two open skillets are one too many -- I would have just preferred one 12 inch skillet over both of these, although depending upon what cooking you do, YMMV. The stock pot is an 8Q stock pot...not too much to say about it. We end up using 5 of the 6 pieces, if you need larger sizes, you may just want to build your own open stock collection.

Having experienced them, I'd definitely buy them again.

Edit 11/29/13 -- We've had these for four years now, and they are still in great shape -- just a couple of small dings on a couple of the more heavily used pieces, although the non-stick still works fantastically. Again, we haven't put them in the dishwasher often (they are easy to clean in the sink after use). Would definitely buy these again.

    Best Cookware I Have Brought
Reviewed in the United States on November 2, 2013

This is the best cookware I have ever owned. When the set arrived the first thing I did was burn a slice of cheese in it. The cheese did not stick and all I had to do was wipe the pan clean. Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick cookware allows you to start a meal on the stove and finish it in the oven without transferring it to another pan. The bottom is designed to heat evenly and can be used on any stove top, even induction stove tops. This cookware works best on low to medium heat burner temperatures I think the cookware heats more evenly at these settings. The cookware is very easy to hand wash. It is dishwasher safe but I prefer to save that option for holiday or large meals since hand washing is the preferred method by Circulon and please if you use the dishwasher do not use a high heat setting for washing or drying. Dishwasher soaps and high heat WILL affect the coating over time.

I like the idea that you do not have to use cooking sprays and oil the end result is more healthful meals. I read the the reason you should not use sprays and oil is because it will cause the pan to heat unevenly and can ruin the pans. So will cooking on high heat.

Some reviewers have stated that the pans are a little heavy but I think the weight of the pans is evenly distributed and Circulon does make cookware with another handle on the side if you find the weight too heavy. These pans are certainly a lot lighter than my cast iron cookware.

I was so impressed with this cookware that I brought my son a set as a house warming gift. I think if you follow the use and care guidelines for this cookware you will be very pleased. One more note these pans are designed for cooking not storing food. You should never store foods, especially highly acidic foods such as tomato based foods, in any nonstick pan as the acid will damage the coating when left in the pan for extended periods.

I have only one complaint. I needed to get a 12" open skillet which does not come in this set. I ordered the Circulon Infinite Hard Anodized Nonstick 10-Inch and 12-Inch Skillets Twin Pack and when I received my order the pans were bent, literally crushed in on one side. I sent the pans back and they were replaced promptly. It seems that other people have received damaged pans as well. Please check your cookware as soon as it arrives, especially important if you are gifting the cookware.

    Great cookware
Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2011

I will be the first to admit that I have "cooking issues". For years the mantra was "you shouldn't bother; the mess you make isnt worth the crap you can cook"...fast forward through a divorce, new job in a new state...and a desire to make a change. The pots I had made cooking an exercise in frustration - everything burnt and stuck, they heated unevenly etc etc...half the time I ended up throwing out whatever I had been cooking and ordering delivery. Not exactly the healthiest option for me or my four year old.

Well I decided to go ahead and invest in some good cookware and see if we can make the chore fun again. I talked to a friend who absolutely raved about these pots. It arrived right on schedule- packing was good and every piece was in pristine condition. I was surprised at how heavy the pieces are. The old pans were exceedingly light. These are heavy - but balance well in the hand. They feel good to hold.

I decided to test the pans and make scrambled eggs and canadian bacon. Used the same stuff I always do with one exception - no oil or cooking sprays for the pan. I have to admit I was nervous - even WITH oil or cooking spray the old pans would make an ungodly mess and would have a coating of egg burnt to a crisp coating the bottom...cleanup would have taken at least 35 minutes.

These pans worked amazingly well - same recipe, same crappy cook - completely different results. The eggs came out light and fluffy; the picky four year old ate them and wanted more. The pans cleaned up really easily. Nothing stuck, no mess. Thus far, I love them!

For someone with cooking issues or who lacks confidence in the kitchen, these work very well. They allowed me to relax and focus on the creative side of cooking without worrying so much about the mechanics. The ease in use and cleanup means less time spent thinking takeout would have been easier.

    Not really impressed.

Edit: this set only lasted about 2.5 years. The non stick coating was peeling from everywhere by year one and I only limped it along to 3 years out of sheer determination. I really wanted a set that lasts and this was not it. Save your money and buy something else.

Bought this set to replace my 10 year old Analon set that I adore but started to ware down. I agonized if I should get Analon over again and ultimately I should have. I cook a lot. Here is what I think after 3 week:

    Pros:

•Dishwasher safe. This is a big one for me. I don't own things that can't go in the dishwasher, and so far they have survived just fine.

    Cons:

•Already chipping on the rims of the pans where the lids rest.

    • To appear "heavy duty" the bottoms are super thick, but the sides of the pans are very thin and don't retain heat as well as I would like.

    • Lid handles get warm to hot depending on what you are cooking and for how long, so it's like Russian roulet if your going to burn your hand or not taking off the kid.

    • Non stick isn't as good as my old pans. Yes they are non stick for the most part but not overly so. I notice certain foods stick more or need more butter/oil.

It's a cheap set, I got what I paid for. I should have just bought Analon over again (Analon Titanium). There is no way this set is going to last as long. Maybe a few years? Probably less. Luckily I saved some of my old pans.

Quality Cookware - Noisy on Induction Cooktop

Kitchen remodel meant a new cooktop. I really liked the features of an induction cooktop, but was concerned with the need for new cookware. I installed a new GE Profile induction cooktopSure enough, 90% of my old pots and pans wouldn't work with an induction cooktop. I had a couple of cast iron pans but wanted some quality cookware that wasn't so heavy. after researching I decided on this set. This set is high quality. Heats up evenly, cleans up easily, and is really non-stick. It works with the induction cooktop with one annoying problem, it buzzes, and buzzes loudly. Depending on the size and settings it's louder than the exhaust hood!

I'm keeping the cookware despite the noise because of its other features and overall quality, but thought I'd give others in search of induction compatible cookware advance notice.

We bought the ten piece set and 9 other assorted pieces, all Circulon Infinite. Here are some of our observations:

    PROS:

All these pans and lids are VERY well made. Fit and finish is flawless. If one didn't know better, they'd think these things cost 4 times as much!

    Very durable non-stick interior.

    Dark grey anodized exterior

    GREAT LOOKING!

Did I mention these pots and pans are GREAT LOOKING?

Very long handles (may be a 'CON' for some)

The size of the handles (diameter) is substantial. Very easy to hold onto.

Handles stay cool (except when coming from the oven....DUHHHHH!)

With their very thick bottoms, very even heat distribution; cooks perfectly; simmer setting SIMMERS very evenly and the 'High' setting is 'high' all over; never seen this on any other cookwear.

Can go in the dishwasher, but since they're so easy to clean, we never have done so. We just hand wash in the sink, rinse, and dry; takes less than a minute or two. And, doesn't crowd the dishwasher, because, with their looooonnnnggg handles, these things are substantial in size!

Can go from the stove top to the oven (up to 500 degrees). My wife LOVES this feature!

Considering the quality, durability, and cooking effectiveness, a VERY good bargain.

Lids are solid, and not glass (but this may be a 'CON' to some)

I did a LOT of research, and these are the best cookware, by far, we have ever owned (and I'm in my 60's!)

    CONS:

These things are heavy; the lids are thick and heavy, and the pans are the same, especially with those big thick plates on the bottom. BUT, they're not near as heavy as cast iron!

Very long handles; takes some getting used to.

Lids are solid, and not glass.

    Miscellaneous:

I checked with a magnet and the only things magnetic on these lids and pans are the steel plates on the bottoms, and the lids themselves. The bodies of the pans, the handles of the pans, and the handles of the lids are all NON-MAGNETIC.

    Summary:

Don't waste your time researching other cookware; just buy one of these, try it out, and then you'll end up chunking all your old cookware and replacing with this stuff!

When I received the 10 set Circulon Infinite cookware I discovered that the 8 QT pot was out of round and the lid would not fit on the top consequently.

It cost me almost $20.00 to send the defective item back to Circulon and as of now, almost 2 weeks later I have still not received the replacement pot.

Draw your own conclusions !!!!!!!! The pots that remain are of good quality and cook evenly.

Here is an addendum to my 1st post written shortly after my wife and I received the set.In the 1st half of 2012 we began to notice that the 3 quart covered pan was beginning to stick ! we sent the pan back back to Myers complaining of the degradation in stated quality ie non-stick; only to have it sent back saying that we had ruined the surface.I can only wonder what the warranty return percentage is on the Circulon pan range given our scenario. Like most things in life the warranties are worthless pieces of paper when you come to actually use them- don't expect to make a claim on any mattress manufacturer when their product fails we had to go to court to prove how worthless a large manufacturer really was !! My advice stay away from Myers Corporation, and purchase a good quality stainless steel set from any of the real quality manufacturers that actually back up their warranties !!
