  • Can you be sure the drive is working properly? You should check several things if you haven't already: Is your CRC error count at 0? Is your Pending/Removed/Reallocated Bad Sectors at 0? Have you run random read/write block tests on the drive? Look into a shareware program called SMART Utility if you haven't run any of these checks already.
