  • I use David’s method when I don’t want to mess with corporate / secured WiFi authentication for internet recovery or I don’t have a caching server/service on my local network to cache the downloads @student010101 When I have a dozen macs to re-mage like last week, I’ll make 2 Catalina and 2 Mojave installers so I can get multiple installs going. With caching server and ethernet - it’s faster to just use recovery for this scenario. Commented Mar 7, 2021 at 3:28
