First let me speak about the game in and of itself.it is a great game, very well developed, high quality, lots of updates, and the devs are always optimizing the balance.But, and there's a big but. It is a pay to win game, and there is almost no point in palying this game, without buying the battle pass each month. now when you are just starting out, you will still level up at a good pace, but it will slow down on a logaritmhic way basically from like level 10 or 11 you basically need to buy battle pass, or your leveling up will be unreasonably slow and painful.I personally do not recommend the game if you are not willing to pay 2000 huf a month (4-5 eur.) after like king level 10-11.now if you are willing to do that, the game becomes more enjoyable because you will level up character at a much more resonable pace, mainly because you get a lot of gold and items which for example gives you all the card required for and upgrade, even for legendaries and champions, or pay the price of the card which you want to upgrade without using your own money. with the battle pass you will level up quite well.Also the game focuses a lot on events and clan wars which also give you a lot of coins, cards and events also give you emotes.I believe the game is indeed pay to win, but it is among the more resonable pay to win games, and i do believe they are pricing the battle pass reasonably. The battle pass is great, because it's cheap for the players, but also good for the devopers, because they will have a steady income, which will give them insentive to update, and develop the game further.I overall like the game, and recommend it, but only if you are willing to pay for battle pass later on.

I have been playing this for about 7-years and reached Arena 23 without spending money and mostly without a clan. This required patience, commitment and discipline, but with a lot of fun and joy. Did not play everyday, but definitely a couple of times every weekYou progress ahead week-by-week, slowly, but steadily. Collecting cards and gold takes time (of which goldwill become the limiting factor) as you can imagine from a multi-year project. By now I have about half of the cards at level 14 and the main deck has all cards and the twoer at level 15 plus two evolutionals. You can reach 9000 easily with this strength.

So I have been playing theis game for some years with about 2-3 different accounts (Recently started from the beginning, etc.).This review is long time coming... I can say i have played enought to form an opinion based on my own statistics and experience.I would like this game. The concept is great, gamplay, balance is pretty awesome. I kept giving a several chances to it because of these things. Finally i have reached a conclusion. I am frustrated and disappointed. Not because of necessary payments. I used to pay enough. I do not pay anymore.My issue is this:Out of 10 games being lvl 8, i get on avarege 5 lvl11, 2-3 lvl10 and 1-2 lvl 9 opponents with a clear advantage (about 2 lvls higher/character than mine). This is wrong. I assume the matching system is either uses the wrong data for, is broken or is purposefully designed to make you lose to have to spend money to advance. I have maybe a 3% chance to win about 90% of the games i play. So mostly doomed to keep failing. This makes my game experience aweful and i am actually quitting soon. I wanted to say this. If i could be matched with same lvl and same character lvl opponents it would be much more enjoyable, because against them i experience about 50% wins. That would be enjoyable and a more reasonable incentive to keep playing. Unfortunately this has not changed at all. So sadly, but i am done.
