How to get Infinite in Marvel SNAP

It’s the ultimate goal of every Marvel SNAP player – but reaching Infinite rank doesn’t come easy!

That’s by design: the genius of Marvel SNAP is how new strategies continually emerge. But follow a few simple rules and hitting 100 will be as common as Hulk smashing things. Good luck!

Shang-Chi KO’d one of your heavy hitters? Probably not the best time to Snap!

Refine, refine, refine

Think your favourite deck is as good as it gets? Don’t get complacent! Continually swap out weak links for cards that better synergise.

Sometimes that’s as simple as adding a card that works better with one of your linchpins: maybe Juggernaut to go with Storm (so he can knock enemy cards off her location), or She-Hulk to work with Sunspot (since both benefit from a skipped turn).

Look to enhance your decks with big new additions too. The arrival of MODOK, for instance, reinvigorated Hela decks, while Loki boosted Collector decks by feeding him points when the God of Mischief replaces your hand. When the meta changes, change with it!

Fight the fads

Instead of following the majority of players who adopt similar decks each time a new card debuts, try building a deck that counters them.

Destroy decks on the rise? Add Armor to slow them down, or perhaps Mobius M. Mobius to make Death unplayable. Everyone suddenly using Patriot decks? Enchantress to the rescue! Catch other players off guard early in a new season to rack up some cubes.

Spidey doesn’t just fight crime – he also ruins an opponent’s strategy by moving their cards.

Have multiple win conditions

Your preferred cards may never enter your hand, so make sure your deck has a few ways to win.

For instance, a Shuri deck based on playing Red Skull–Taskmaster to get two high-powered cards on the board during turns 5 and 6 is solid. But make sure you include cards that allow other big finishes if needed, such as Arnim Zola, She-Hulk or Galactus.

Likewise, a Destroy deck with Deadpool, Death and Knull provides three different ways to drop big points on turn 6. More outs means more victories!

Play off the featured location

Looking to quickly net loads of cubes? Whenever SNAP adds a featured location, be sure to choose (or tweak) your deck to take advantage of it.

If Bar Sinister or Space Throne pops up, bust out a deck with Green Goblin to instantly win the location by filling your opponent’s side early. If it’s Kamar-Taj, unleash a Wong-powered Reveal deck – or have a Cosmo ready to foil other players’ Reveal decks.

Milk that featured location for all it’s worth!

Find your deck overloaded with high-energy cards? Tweak it!

Know when to go all in

Follow the old poker maxim: Pump it or dump it. If you’re confident you can win with your deck, your hand, and whatever locations you see, Snap away! You’ll climb quickly with those big wins.

But if the likelihood of victory is feeling slim, don’t Snap! Minimising the number of cubes you lose is crucial.

Retreating is equally important – and difficult, especially when a rival taunts you with the “Snap?” emote, or when a well-timed Professor X wrecks your game plan. But don’t throw away points for pride. When things look bleak, consider your retreat a heroic escape – and take heart knowing you didn’t sacrifice more cubes.

Reach Infinite

Wait – are we really suggesting that one of the best ways to reach Infinite is to have already reached Infinite?

Yes, but hear us out.

Once you hit Infinite, you start the next season at rank 73 – which puts you just 27 ranks away from getting Infinite again the subsequent season.

So keep the streak going! Each time you reach Infinite, it’ll be easier next time. Excelsior!
