One of our favourite apps for learning another language, the process is genuinely fun. What’s more, all those languages and games are available for free!
Why I love Duo! 🦉❤️

This app is seriously helping me to learn a language! My foreign friends are shocked of how quickly I’m learning. I’m able to carry a conversation. I also love how this app is explaining the grammar. Read the tips - they are really helpful. Grammar of other languages are often difficult, but this app makes it look easy. And it’s fun! The fastest way to actually master a language when you want to do it correctly and properly. You also hear and write words and phrases, so you learn even pronunciation and spelling! I highly recommend this app!P.S.You can choose duolingo plus without commercials or normal version with them - they help to keep education free. :)I love you, Duo! 🦉😍

Hello! I have duolingo since 2020, and i really enjoy it, it is fun and kinda dicting, but the thing is to mke it even more adicting and well better, I would want for you guys to add a feature to burn your streak freeze, so personally I had little time to do duolingo past month and I do it late, and sometimes I can't do it.. So I get less motivated to keep doing it, and mes using a streak freeze just bugs me for super long..😭 I really want that you can pay some diamonds or well just press on the freeze and do thw lesson and it burns and doesn't show as a freeze and add +1 day to you streak for it. (It would show:"burn your freeze") to start it. So yeah, Either you can put it in duolingo premium as a feature or just let people press on it, beacous then people would get more addicted and would keep using it more. I just feel bad knowing I would have +6 days to my streak if I had time, so pleasee, PLEASE, make this happen🙏🙏 pretty please. Please reply to this review and yeah. Ok, now goodbye and have a nice day🦉💚

I like the app, but…

I understand you have to make money, so this app can be used by millions, but the new system with charges, not hearts, is a massive disapointment. It forces the user to buy super, since you will only be able to do 2-4 lessons before you will have to either buy charges for in game currency or watch ads, to recharge. Either you have to spend a lot of time watcing ads and learn or you have to just go ahead and buy the super. When we had hearts, it was way more challenging. And for me that was all the fun. Making a mistake and knowing I only have 1 heart to finish the lesson. It was a challange, but now it feels like gambling. I do 5 in row correct and I get ether 1-5 charges for it. Have these charges but add the hearts back to “super” or an option to chose, between charges and hearts, then I will definetly buy the premium version. Other then that, 10/10 app. Would recomend to anybody, from a cousin to a stranger you have met online.P.S. Will delete my review if you add the hearts back.

Our mascot owl, Duo, is trading in his usual diet of mice for bugs this week. Yup, we’re squashing those pesky bugs to make the experience better for all of you. For more Duolingo news, contests and product releases, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @duolingo.
