Guardian ad Litem (2020-present)

Description: The Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem, through volunteers meant to advocate of behalf of a child's best interest, evaluates the well-being and needs of children to make recommendations to the court on the best course of action for a child's future. Description: The South Carolina Budget and Control Board was created in 1950 by Reorganization Plan No.2 in 1950 (Act 621 of 1949) which merged 10 boards and commissions to provide a broad array of services to the public sector and administrative and regulatory functions.
