The Boondocks (Complete Series)
DVD & WEB rips of the Complete Boxset of the Boondocks, this will include the Special Features and commentary tracks. The video has been de-telecined to provide a better viewing experience than what is currently available on streaming services and Dolby Digital audio has been retained. If you have issues with playback, it is recommended to use a video player that can properly decode x264 10-bit video and AC3 audio or re-encode to 8-bit video or a more compatible audio format. Episodes are in HBO Max order.
The initial motive for this was due to discovering the current streaming version being interpolated for the first two seasons and most other available versions being old encodes or missing content.
As usual, for the proper viewing experience please watch the MP4 and MKV files with the bigger filesize. The files that end in .ia are re-encodes made by Internet Archive that hinder the video quality.
How to reproduce this encode:
All of Season 1 and 12 episodes of Season 2 were simply re-encoded with Handbrake at x264 10-bit with a CRF of 15 at a slow preset with automatic cropping and the de-telecine filter. The remaining interlaced content was run through Hybrid using the QTGMC filter with Even lines selected in the case of animated episodes and Bob selected at 59.97 frames for any content featuring real life footage such as the video commentaries.

Season 3 and 4 episodes are HBO Max rips. In the case of episodes with additional audio commentary tracks it has been synced to the DVD audio with no other changes made for the best possible visual quality. These seasons' DVD sets would occasionally have content already in progressive format so re-encoding is avoided whenever possible.
Note regarding missing episodes: Some episodes/content were not able to be ripped with the DVD discs provided and will be added at a later time.

Adult swim tried, but nothing could beat the power of the series. I'm glad I can access this show for free because it's tough out here, ain't much to watch
...
for free that's worth it.
