    That should not work: you can not use automatic login with encryption During install autom. logon is disabled when selecting encryption. That should also be the case when you want to set it afterwards. Commented Feb 26 at 14:46

  • @Rinzwind "But does it work?" yes (25.10+FDE+TPM). "security bug " it can be considered security issue in my case (where root is unlocked automatically). It is not security issue in the OP case where owner's presence is verified before root can be unlocked. Commented Feb 26 at 18:21
