Grocery demand is steady. So why are baskets shrinking at checkout? It’s not always about price. And it’s not always about product. In today’s environment, how customers choose to pay can matter just as much as what they put in their cart. For grocers focused on protecting margin and deepening customer loyalty, this shift is too important to overlook. Checkout is evolving. Is your payment strategy keeping up? Please join us in celebrating US Finance team member Alex Weber, CPA, who recently marked his second Zipsterversary! Since joining, Alex has strengthened the processes and controls to support our US growth, also contributing to the uplift in how financial information is reported across Zip. “Working in fintech means new challenges are constantly emerging, which creates opportunities to learn quickly. The pace at which Zip operates, combined with our culture of ownership and trust, has really helped me develop my career. As Zipsters, we are encouraged to step up, solve problems and improve ways of working as part of cross-functional teams. This gives us greater visibility into how the business operates day to day, and how these activities flow into financial reporting. I’m excited to keep taking on new challenges and helping build the foundation that supports Zip’s future.” Congratulations on two-riffic years as a Zipster, Alex!

Flexible payments are playing a role in completing grocery trips, especially for customers managing pay cycles week to week. In Grocery Dive's latest article, Zip Chief Commercial Officer Peter Volynsky walks us through the behavioral patterns grocers know all too well: baskets shift throughout the month even when nothing in the store has changed. When financial cycles shape how and when customers spend, grocers should build strategies to support that reality. Could flexible payments be the key? Explore what’s influencing the modern grocery basket and how to align your approach to prevailing behavioral patterns. Read more: https://tinylink.net/HVCy4

Today we announced our half year results for FY26, demonstrating increased profitability at scale. Each of our results were within our full-year guidance ranges as announced to the market in August 2025. Group cash earnings grew 85.6% to a record $124.3 million with corresponding operating margin expansion of 569 basis points to 18.7%. We saw accelerated momentum across both markets underpinned by deeper customer engagement, strong holiday trading and expanded channel partnerships. Following a strong half, Zip has upgraded its FY26 guidance for operating margin and cash EBTDA as a % of TTV while reconfirming all other target ranges. To earn trust, you have to give trust. That is the insight behind our new brand platform, “In You We Trust,” launching today. While traditional finance often relies on outdated assumptions and barriers, Zip is taking a different stance. We believe in backing our customers' judgment with tools designed for real life; offering access, transparency, and flexibility when it matters most. Developed in partnership with Majority and Noble People, our new national campaign brings this belief to life. Across the creative, the question “You trust me?” is asked again and again — across everyday moments and playfully exaggerated scenarios — and our answer is always the same: Zip trusts you with money. A huge thank you to our team, our agency partners, and Destiny Modeste, a Zip customer featured in our campaign, for helping bring this work to life. #InYouWeTrust #BNPL #Zip #Youtrustme 📺 Watch the new spot below ⤵️

Huge congratulations to Bernadette O'Connell who recently marked four-midable years at Zip! Bernadette, a Senior Financial Accountant in our New Zealand business, believes that exposure to different teams, perspectives and ways of working has enabled her to accelerate her career. “The biggest factor has been the opportunity to work cross-functionally across both New Zealand and Australia. That experience has helped me broaden my skill set and better understand how the business operates end-to-end. Strong leaders who are supportive, accessible and invested in development have also given me the confidence to take on new challenges. There’s also a really genuine focus on wellbeing, which helps create a positive and sustainable way of working. Looking ahead, there are so many opportunities to get involved in initiatives that drive growth, improve how we work and deliver better outcomes for our customers. I’m also excited to support the development of others by sharing knowledge, mentoring and contributing to a strong team culture, while continuing to learn myself.” Please join us in celebrating Bernadette’s Zipsteversary - here’s to many more to come!

It’s time to celebrate US Lead, Communications Naomi W. who recently marked her fourth Zipsterversary! In her role Naomi has had the opportunity to partner with many teams across the organization - including Product, Legal, Risk and Compliance and Investor Relations - helping shape how we communicate as a business during the moments that matter. This exposure has been one of the biggest reasons behind choosing to grow her career with Zip. “I’ve learned the most by being in the room with teams who have different priorities and perspectives. Understanding how decisions are made and why has been just as valuable as building skills within my own function. It’s also enabled my role to evolve, so that I can make a bigger impact. Working directly with senior leaders and decision makers encourages me to think critically and I feel trusted to bring perspective, not just execute. This creates space for me to do my best work and take ownership of how Zip shows up externally and internally. Zip is evolving quickly, and it’s meaningful to be part of a company focused on helping everyday Americans manage their cashflow. I’m excited about what’s ahead, both for the business and the customers we serve.” Congratulations on your four-midable years as a Zipster Naomi!
