1Surely if the trainer replicates the mount points of a wheel then it would fit almost any bike. My bent takes a normal 135mm OLD wheel so any trainer that duplicates that should fit. You'd want to bolt it on just like an upright road bike, moreso because of balance reasons.Criggie– Criggie ♦2019-04-28 13:44:54 +00:00Commented Apr 28, 2019 at 13:44

The rear end of nearly every recumbent is built on the same standards as upright bikes, because 99% of them use stock parts. So the spacing, QRs, derailleur hanger, and cabling will be nearly identical to what's on upright bikes.user36575– user365752019-04-28 18:12:49 +00:00Commented Apr 28, 2019 at 18:12

It's not the hub spacing that's the issue at all, but about frame clearance (the stays in particular).Carbon side up– Carbon side up2019-04-29 11:42:46 +00:00Commented Apr 29, 2019 at 11:42

How to Tag
A tag is a keyword or label that categorizes your question with other, similar questions. Choose one or more (up to 5) tags that will help answerers to find and interpret your question.
- complete the sentence: my question is about...
- use tags that describe things or concepts that are essential, not incidental to your question
- favor using existing popular tags
- read the descriptions that appear below the tag
If your question is primarily about a topic for which you can't find a tag:
- combine multiple words into single-words with hyphens (e.g. mountain-bike), up to a maximum of 35 characters
- creating new tags is a privilege; if you can't yet create a tag you need, then post this question without it, then ask the community to create it for you
