Strong grant writing starts with a strong foundation — and NOSORH is excited to introduce a new learning opportunity designed specifically for rural health professionals.
Fundamentals of Rural Grant Writing is Level I of NOSORH's Grant Writing Institute (GWI), a progressive learning pathway created to support rural health professionals throughout the grant development process. This on-demand webinar series introduces the core elements of rural health grant development, including grant terminology, concept planning, and strategies for identifying rural health funding opportunities and resources.
Designed for flexible, self-paced learning, the series allows participants to complete the sessions whenever their schedule permits. The full course is approximately 90 minutes long and is divided into three 30-minute sessions.
Completion of Level I is highly recommended before attending Level II: Developing Competitive Grant Proposals, a live, interactive series where participants build on these foundational concepts through more advanced proposal development activities. Level II will be offered live multiple times throughout the year.
