Through a collaborative project with the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory (MSAM) at the University of Waterloo, AI Materia advanced its process intelligence capabilities for #aerospace manufacturing and #qualification. The project established a validated process-to-performance framework connecting the digital world of manufacturing data with the physical performance of manufactured components. This work demonstrated how process intelligence can move beyond data analysis toward engineering-level insight and decisions, supporting: • Process understanding • Performance prediction • Process optimization • Manufacturing qualification For #aerospace applications, where components must meet demanding performance and reliability requirements, understanding these relationships is critical to developing more predictable and reliable manufacturing processes. At AI Materia, our vision is to provide the intelligence layer for advanced manufacturing, transforming complex industrial data and scientific knowledge into actionable engineering intelligence for manufacturing and qualification. This project was supported through MSAM’s Metal AM Voucher Program, funded by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario | Agence fédérale de ..., enabling collaboration between industry and academia to advance innovative additive manufacturing capabilities. We extend our appreciation to Mohsen K. Keshavarz and the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Laboratory team for their expertise and collaboration in advancing this project and its outcomes.

What a week at HANNOVER MESSE, and what it signals for the future of industry. The conversations were sharper, the intent clearer, and the shift undeniable: Industrial AI is no longer a vision on slides, it’s becoming infrastructure on the factory floor. At the Canada Pavilion, AI Materia was right at the intersection of this transformation, engaging with leaders who are done exploring possibilities and ready to execute. Across every discussion, one theme stood out: real progress is being driven by those who collaborate boldly across borders, disciplines, and technologies. We leave Hannover not just with momentum, but with conviction. The path forward is about turning intelligence into impact, deploying Industrial AI where it matters most: in advanced materials and manufacturing environments where precision, efficiency, and scalability define success. Grateful to NGen Canada and the broader ecosystem that made these exchanges meaningful. The energy was real, the alignment is strong. And now, it’s time to build. #HM2026 #IndustrailAI #AdvancedMaterials #AdvancedManufacturing
