In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, it was an honour to learn from Nicole Joy-Fraser, an award-winning multidisciplinary artist from the Onguiaahra region. Through storytelling and hands-on learning, including tobacco tie-making, Nicole shared her natural intelligence and perspectives gained from her own journey, inviting us to listen, reflect, and take action. Her powerful storytelling reminded us that reconciliation is not a destination, but an ongoing journey. By engaging with the truths of our shared history and listening to Indigenous voices, we can better understand our responsibilities and the role we each have in moving reconciliation forward.

Our story begins in the North. Long before Canada Goose existed, northern makers/artisans were creating garments designed for life in some of the world's most challenging conditions. Their knowledge, skill and craftsmanship continue to bring communities together today. That's the spirit behind our Resource Centre Program. Since 2009, we've donated surplus performance materials to northern communities, helping support local sewing traditions while giving new life to fabrics and trims. Last week, alongside Canadian North, we returned to Iqaluit, Nunavut, for a community donation event. Hundreds of people came through the doors and the excitement was unmistakable. As they selected materials, many shared what they planned to create: parkas, mitts, gifts for family members and projects already taking shape in their minds. It was a powerful reminder that in the hands of skilled makers, materials become far more than fabric. We also donated materials to the Sailijaaqvik Boarding Home, which welcomes people travelling to Iqaluit for medical care. The donation will help expand its sewing program, creating more opportunities for connection, creativity and community. Some things deserve to be carried forward. Craft is one of them.

Protection has always been our purpose. Now, that purpose sets sail. We are proud to join documentary series TRUE WIND as Official Protective Gear Partner, equipping Ewan McGregor, Eric Strickland and the crew for an unsupported transatlantic sailing expedition from Scotland to Brazil. Built in collaboration with the crew of TRUE WIND, a fully integrated protective gear system has been curated for relentless wind, rain, and changing conditions across thousands of miles at sea. At its centre is the Sea Mantra, developed over six years specifically for extreme wet weather environments. The expedition represents a new expression of our commitment to protecting people from wind and rain in nature’s most extreme conditions, while marking the beginning of a larger story still to come. Natural Intelligence is found in the world around us, where every environment can shape the story being told. For 25+ years, we have protected the people behind the stories, helping crews adapt to whatever conditions a set demands. From remote locations to long days on set, we’ve been there through the moments that shape what audiences see on screen. As the longstanding Official Outerwear Partner of Toronto International Film Festival, we celebrate the storytellers who bring those experiences to life. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e5ykkXZx

A new road in exploration. Announcing a new partnership with ARCH Motorcycle Racing, the racing division of ARCH Motorcycle, co-founded by Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger. Though operating in different worlds, we share a belief that exceptional products are earned through experience, shaped by the people who use them, and refined through real-world testing, craftsmanship and an uncompromising attention to detail. Designed by Haider Ackermann for the ARCH Motorcycle Racing team, a custom off-track Snow Goose capsule debuted during the 2026 MotoAmerica Super Hooligan National Championship. Created for the lives of the riders and crew beyond the track, it reflects the function, personalities and visual identity of the team through Ackermann's distinctive use of colour and silhouette. The partnership marks the beginning of a broader relationship between Canada Goose and ARCH. Built on a shared pursuit of performance, craftsmanship and exploration, the next chapter will expand beyond the paddock into product and exploration, with additional details to be revealed in October 2026. Natural Intelligence begins with noticing the world around us. Today, on #ArcticSeaIceDay, we recognize sea ice as the foundation of Arctic life. It supports wildlife, ecosystems, and the delicate balance of one of the planet's most remarkable environments. Together with Polar Bears International, we are proud to support research and conservation efforts that deepen our understanding of the Arctic and help protect it for future generations.
