You investigate potential by-law contraventions, respond to complaints from the public and City staff, and promote compliance through education, recommendations, and enforcement measures, including compliance orders, offence notices, and Administrative Monetary Penalties (AMPs). You oversee testing to identify and confirm non-compliant sewer and stormwater connections, ensure corrective actions are completed, and, where necessary, initiate and enforce service disconnections in accordance with Municipal By-laws to address violations that pose emergency risks.
