Decades of engine knowledge, every part of the business, one table. This is where the good ideas come from. Regularly, our team steps away from the day-to-day and gets in a room together for one reason: how do we take better care of the operators who count on us. What's working, what isn't, what we could be doing differently, and how we stay the kind of shop that actually knows its customers.

  • Engine costs are up, and every operator feels it right now. So when you're spending that kind of money, the real question isn't just the number on the quote. It's what you actually get for it. A cheaper overhaul that comes back needing rework or sits an extra few weeks costs more than it saved. At Essential Turbines, you get turn times you can plan around and someone who knows your account when you call. Power. Expertise. Quality. The standard on every engine, every time. #EssentialTurbines #Helicopters #HelicopterMRO

  • We know the team behind Vertical MRO, so we went into the first conference last year expecting it to be good. It was better than that. We were ready to sign on for 2026 before we left Kelowna. What made it work was the people. Everyone in that room lives in the world of rotorcraft, so the conversations skipped the introductions and went straight to the real stuff. Overhaul timing. Parts availability. What actually happens when an engine comes off wing unexpectedly. Valentino Medved is back for Essential Turbines, October 5 to 7 at the KF Centre for Excellence. If you run M250 or RR300 engines and want to talk overhaul planning, exchange and rotable options, or what we have on the shelf right now, find him at the Essential booth or send a note ahead and set up a time. #EssentialTurbines #HelicopterMRO #VerticalMRO #HelicopterMaintenance

  • Valentino Medved joined the first Vertical MRO roundtable this month alongside host David Kreutzkamp, Ronnie Ries and Jon Gray. An hour on where the industry sits heading into fall, from the wildfire season across North America to restricted-category aircraft entering commercial service to the technician shortage the whole sector is facing. • Plenty of shops are authorized on the M250 and RR300. Fewer build their entire business around it. Essential Turbines is a part of the Rolls-Royce authorized network, and the difference is focus. M250 and RR300 aren't a side capability here. They're the whole operation. Every certification, every technician, every process points at these two engine families and nothing else.

  • Today is Labor Day across North America, a day set aside for the people who do the work. That's a good fit for how we think about this business. Engines don't get overhauled by companies. They get overhauled by people, the technicians on the bench, the planners keeping jobs moving, the ones who pick up the phone when an operator needs an answer. So today we're thinking about our teams, in Montreal, Vancouver, Mesa, and Malta. Thanks for the work you do, and for the standard you hold while doing it. Happy Labor Day.

  • An engine on the bench isn't earning. It's a helicopter on the ground and a customer who isn't flying. That's the problem our engine and module exchange program is built to solve. Instead of waiting out a full overhaul, operators can exchange a module or a complete engine and get back in the air, so the aircraft is earning again instead of sitting. For M250 and RR300 operators, it's the difference between days down and weeks down. If your maintenance planning runs tight, it's worth understanding how the program works before you need it. #EssentialTurbines #HelicopterMRO #Helicopters

  • The faces behind your engines. Meet some of the Montreal crew, the people who actually turn the wrenches, chase the parts, and keep things moving. A whole lot of appreciation headed their way today. Feel free to pile on by giving them a 👍.

  • A little over a year ago, Essential Turbines acquired AeroMaritime Mediterranean and welcomed a Malta facility with 45 years of engine expertise into the network. The first year included new ownership, a new name, and a new ERP system in the same twelve months. The team came through it ahead of plan by the end of Q2 and earned a Rolls-Royce FIRST Class Service recognition in March. It also brought capabilities into focus that deserve more attention. A fuel accessory shop supporting Honeywell fuel-system components. RR300 fuel control unit overhaul now fully in-house. A turboprop test cell for the M250 variants powering fixed-wing trainers. EASA Part-147 approved M250 training, with Rolls-Royce authorization to deliver type training. Well done to Silvana Calleja and the Malta team. If you operate M250 or RR300 aircraft in the region, get in touch with our Malta team.
