It was so fun to travel with my awesome team Kristen Schroeder, Jessica Soria. M.Sc & Natalie Kachmarsky, be part of a panel with Cathline James, Kate Reid, Allison Austman, and Ashley Byrne and spend time with Real Food For Real Kids alum Hope Paterson and Kathleen Ko while we were in Montreal❤️ There is still so much work to do to build a universal school food program in Canada, and the conference made it clear just how many people are rolling up their sleeves to make it happen. RFRK is excited to be part of this movement and to share what we've learned from feeding thousands of kids every day. I'm looking forward to seeing how this momentum continues to grow and, most importantly, how it translates into more kids across Canada having access to nutritious and delicious food at school.

Now, Real Food For Real Kids has officially launched a line of single-serve, kid-sized meals on spatulafoods.com. Huge credit to our team, especially Jessica Soria. M.Sc who developed these while I was on mat leave, and to the Spatula team for moving quickly to bring them to market. This is a great step toward making more real food accessible for families - and early response shows just how much parents are looking for it. Grateful for the partnership. More to come!

We've never done one together, and right before the pitch I realized we have 30+ years of Real Food For Real Kids experience between us (that's totally impossible based on our youthful appearance right?) We could have presented for hours. Our love of what we do was pretty clear, and makes it so easy to sell 🤓. If the kids in your life aren't eating RFRK at their childcare, let us convince you they should be 👏

Yasmine Kashefi, MBA reacted on thisIt's my last day at Founderpath 💜 Over 2.5 years ago I opened my DMs and had to do a double take – Nathan messaged me: "Danielle, we just hit $5m in revenue at Founderpath and are looking for our first teammate to own audience growth (we're 7 today). Think you know saas well from PW days. We'll deploy $150m to SaaS founders this year, growing revenue 400% yoy. I'm in Boston next week. Coffee?" Fast forward to today, and we've done all that and then some. I couldn't be more proud of what we've built over the last few years – from SaaSOpen (Next: Sept 5th, NYC) to creating THE gold standard of webinars for B2B SaaS founders – what a privilege it's been. It's been the hardest decision of my career so far to leave for a new adventure and that has everything to do with the team I've been lucky enough to work along side. Chris, Kevin, Charlie, Joe, Dominic, Jared, Makara, Peter, Vasili, Shraya, Jovel: I'll miss you, team! Thanks for making the last two years a dream come true 💜 I'll be rooting for you!! I'll share more on whats next soon, but for now taking a week to rest & recharge.

Fix your data, then trust your AI. Operationalizing AI is a big task for all companies, The key is to start right by focusing on the right data foundation. What if you do all this work to realize answers aren’t accurate? Different sources Different metrics, different stories. Here’s how you build the right Data foundation: 1. Align & Design Understand what's truly important. Define the critical KPIs, customer segments, and business logic. → Gives everyone a clear blueprint of what success means. 2. Collect All Sources of Data Data is everywhere - tools, teams, platforms. → Centralize it. No more blind spots. 3. Clean, Map & Organize Strip out the noise. Standardize formats. Map data to the views you need. → Now the data is stable, usable, and meaningful. 4. Optimize for Performance Ensure efficient data retrieval, storage, and processing. → Everything is available quickly and reliably. 5. Maintain that new Single Source of Truth Keep data structured, consistent, and aligned. → Now it’s ready for AI agents and reporting needs to help you spot real signals and drive fast action. Now you have the right foundation to build or understand anything. Without it? You’re guessing. You’re building on sand. And eventually - everyone will work in silos. * * * I talk about the real mechanics of growth, data, and execution. If that’s what you care about, let’s connect

American Marketing… • 3K followers
Marketers, agencies, creatives... need your input ** Times of rapid ch-ch-change requires reality checks. That's what we got at the 10th annual agency panel held by American Marketing Association (AMA), Toronto - What I heard: Agencies might not be moving fast enough to adapt to AI & market changes - Client's are smart and catching up to any "games" played to keep billable hours up. - Campaign & award focus needs to expand to be relatable to other C-suite (e.g.; CFO & COO) - Google & Meta want your money & think they can do "it" WAY better I also heard finance is hesitating as business models change. You won't get what you used to with an agency sale if you are keeping staff that's not needed & billing client's what isn't useful. AND! If you're willing to be "young in thought" - there's so much new opportunity out there - If you're willing to put the energy in & be willing to abandon what once was. Did you hear what I heard? What am I missing? Amazon Ads Canada Launches Agentic #AI solution 🚨 ... Today at unBoxed Toronto 2026, Uri Gorodzinsky announced an #agentic AI solution called “Creative Agent" now available in Canada. This isn’t just another AI feature. It’s positioned as your own personal creative director - embedded directly inside your ad workflow. As Uri shared it “helps you move from making more ads, to making the right ads.” Here’s what makes Creative Agent stand out: 🔎 Built-in market intelligence It conducts research on your brand and competitors to inform strategy before ideation. 🎬 From concept to storyboard It generates campaign concepts and storyboards that you can iterate and refine - turning ideation into something tangible, fast. 🎙️ Full-funnel asset creation (in the background) Think ad copy, scripts, audio, and video assets all generated and adapted dynamically. This builds on their recently launched AI video generator (still early stage), and now expands into a broader system with access to 50+ tools across the creative stack. https://lnkd.in/g2uiDyvP . . . *Photo used as an educational tool.

Canada’s Productivity Crisis Is Making AI NonNegotiable Canada’s productivity gap is now so severe that AI isn’t optional—it’s survival. 2026 is the turning point. Theory → Deployment. The companies waiting for “perfect conditions” will fall behind the ones starting with “good enough.” Here’s the reality: most businesses can have production AI running in 6 weeks. That’s less time than it takes to hire one new employee. If you’ve been “meaning to do something about AI” but keep pushing it to next quarter? That’s exactly who should DM me or book a call. Because next quarter is already here. Link in comments. #CanadaProductivity #AIImplementation #TorontoBusiness #SMB #BusinessGrowth

Proof Strategies' annual CanTrust Index is released today, and one of the data points that jumps out at me is that only one in three Canadians trusts the Federal Government to regulate AI. WHY SO MANY OF YOU? Four years ago, ChatGPT was released, and we had Will Smith eating spaghetti through the side of his head. Today, we have near-perfect replicants of Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt fighting one another, agentic AI going off ordering burgers and deleting files like Son of Anton, local language models residing entirely on your phone or a Raspberry Pi, and piles of software coming together by way of vibe coding. Our Federal Government is requiring four years, not to build, but to PLAN to BUILD a railway. AI is almost moving too fast for the market to keep up to it. Looking at it through the speed of government, by the time they fully understand and have reached consensus on what to do about horse-drawn carriages, we're going to have supersonic jets and rocket ships. https://lnkd.in/gcm3Mx-U

Today Minister Evan Solomon announced more than $19M in federal investment to support 20 AI and tech organizations across Southern Ontario, helping Canadian innovations scale, compete globally, and adopt AI responsibly. For those of us working in digital advertising, this does not change how the ecosystem operates today. But it does reinforce a strong signal that Canada is actively investing in domestic digital and AI capability while continuing to rely on open, global systems. That balance is essential to the future of digital advertising. Digital advertising depends on cross-border data flows, interoperability, and scale. At the same time, investments in Canadian-built AI, analytics, and trusted data environments strengthen the innovation layer that supports media, marketing, and measurement. Canada won’t win by closing doors. Focusing on efforts that ensure Canada remains a credible and competitive contributor to a global digital economy is a long-term goal worth fighting for. I'm looking forward to working with our members and the IAB Tech Lab to ensure the use of AI in advertising focuses on additive benefits to solid foundations that are based on learning how to use digital marketplaces responsibly. We must be intentional with how we drive efficiencies and fight the urge to forget what we've learned so well - this industry runs on humans. Machines selling to machines diminishes the point of connecting with the audience....humans. And the beauty of humans is that while they thrive on (healthy) competition they come together and build things when nature makes it a necessity. We will continue to track these developments closely and advocate for policies that support innovation, trust, and a thriving, connected digital ecosystem. #AI #DigitalAdvertising #Innovation #MadeInCanada #Data #Trust #IABCanada #ISED #ohCanada
