In mathematical analysis, the Taylor series or Taylor expansion of a function is an infinite sum of terms that are expressed in terms of the function's derivatives at a single point. For most common functions, the function and the sum of its Taylor series are equal near this point. Taylor series are named after Brook Taylor, who introduced them in 1715. A Taylor series is also called a Maclaurin series when 0 is the point where the derivatives are considered, after Colin Maclaurin, who made extensive use of this special case of Taylor series in the 18th century. The partial sum formed by the first...

Well, you can talk religion or politics. Just, don’t try to convert people and don’t get angry.

Well the observer could be anyone or anything. If the properties of an object are being measured, the measurer would be the observer. It could be a pair of binoculars, the man using the binoculars, a spectrophotometer, or even that nerd Heisenberg that showed God throws dice.

CharlotteIn October, we ran this year’s round of Community-a-thon. As in previous years, the purpose is for staff to step into the shoes of community members and experience what it’s like to ask, answer, edit, flag, and generally experience the network as a regular user. I don't think that math is the main point, it's more about the analytical problem solving and how you approach problems that's key. Knowing how to deal with math gives you those analytical and memory skills.

@MhdRAZI Sometimes the things you want can take an extraordinary amount of effort. And sometimes you don't need the best place, just good enough.
