But I would still say it's not inappropriate for Western Christians to ask Western questions of our Eastern brothers. If they want to undermine the very premise of the question, that is still a legitimate answer. | |

If we look at Orthodox notions of infallibility through Protestant eyes, we risk getting stuck in a sort of legalistic outlook which the Orthodox do not share.
