@CrisLuengo From the little bit of testing I did after I switched from RGB to CMYK, the 2d K slice was just filled with zeros every time. Someone on discord told me "K seems to be calculated as 1 - max(R,G,B). so if it's zero, then your original RGB color has a max value in one of the channels". If that is accurate, that means that K is just a constant value and does not need to have string art done on it.

But I wanted to point out that the K in CMYK is not “Key” but “blacK”. They couldn’t use “B” because that is typically the blue channel in RGB, and it would be confusing. Cyan, magenta, yellow and black are the color of ink in the simplest form of color printer. | |
