Why? The borders are of no consequence to the image and detract from it. I feel like it would orphan the dozen or so other articles using it where there is no practical reason to show them any more than the one I am working on. Unless I misunderstand you, I want to replace the thick border one with any reasonable tool, but I am not familiar with the Crop Tool you mentioned to know if that's what it can do. No. I want to improve the image for every article using it. The old version can just remain as, you know, an old version. I can't see why anyone, much less a majority of people, would want those particular borders. That's a ridiculous idea. There's nothing there to see. They are not precious borders. They appear to have been unintentionally included in some book or were limited by 19th century technology. Allow overwriting of File:Sterling zone.png, because what is now en:Israel and en:Palestine, which made up the British en:Mandatory Palestine until 1948, used the en:Palestine pound, which was part of the en:Sterling area. The border of South Sudan, which became independent in 2011, is also missing, because this area formerly used the en:Egyptian pound (which was once a part of the Sterling area), when it was part of the en:Anglo-Egyptian Sudan until 1956. I want to redraw the thin black lining on the orange crescent around the shield. In the current version, the lining gets wider that the crescent itself at some point and also it goes full circle, which is not found in other depictions of the arms (earlier png version for example). There is a rotation bug in that is causing the file to appear stretched when viewed on Wikipedia (particularly this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Hickel).
