Error

@Colin Douglas Howell: Barré did not made cars in 1897. Look at en:Barré (automobile), de:Automobiles Bardon, fr:Automobiles Barré.

The first presentation of a car (2 seats in the back, 1 very small seat at the front, all vis-a-vis) was at the 1899 Paris Salon, source:

  • George Nick Georgano (Chefredakteur): The Beaulieu Encyclopedia of the Automobile. Volume 1: A–F. Fitzroy Dearborn Publishers, Chicago 2001, ISBN 1-57958-293-1. (englisch)

Or 1900 for the first car, sources:

  • Harald H. Linz, Halwart Schrader: Die Internationale Automobil-Enzyklopädie. United Soft Media Verlag, München 2008, ISBN 978-3-8032-9876-8.

The car in the museum is a full 4-seater vis-a-vis. It cannot be 1899. The wrong year 1897 must be an error of the museum. Please correct your mistake to 1900. --Buch-t (talk) 14:36, 17 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've corrected this category as well, following the same procedure I did for the 1899 Esculape. This time I also requested moving Alfvanbeem's images so that they begin with "1900" instead of "1897", with an explanation that you had informed me of the museum's misdating. --Colin Douglas Howell (talk) 21:01, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I forgot to ask. For your Barré and Bardon references, could you please provide page numbers for the printed ones and chapter names for the Linz & Schrader DVD-ROM reference, as you did for your Esculape references? I'd appreciate it, as it would make the citations better. --Colin Douglas Howell (talk) 21:43, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Done. --Buch-t (talk) 11:04, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
