To create this drop repeat I followed the first steps of a basic repeat (drawing own motif ect) but i used the offset filter to separate the icon into two halves then increased the page size and pasted in the whole icon in, I then defined the pattern and flooded the page. visually the next lcon is on a different level the one next to it giving it a different look to the basic print.

To create my mood bored I looked up fashion illustrators I liked that used digital media I chose to use Cedric Rivrain, Nikki Farquharson and Weldemar Strempler. I collected 3-4 pieces of each artist work, I decided to put similar colours together and make it travel up the corner. I then used the gradient tool to give the background some colour

To help inspire me for my prints I had to crate a mindmap/Spider diagram to look at the different prints and shapes in Japanese culture and planets. I google imaged searched both inspirations and only collected large clear images.

When creating this technical drawing I found item of clothing and pasted it into photoshop I then deleted out the inside of the shirt using the magic wand tool, so I was then able to use my motif I previously drew to create a pattern on the shirt by rotating, duplicating and changing the size.
