Saving Lives Together in Arlington Heights! ❤️ In June, a special event took place at our Arlington Heights location in the spirit of solidarity: a blood drive right on site made it easy for our colleagues to donate blood. The results speak for themselves: a total of 33 units of blood were collected – enough to help up to 99 people. 💪🩸 As a small thank-you for this incredible commitment, a taco truck was on hand to provide culinary highlights and a great atmosphere. 🌮 It was more than just an event – it was a sign of how strong our community is and how easy it can be to do something good together. 💙 #witronPOWER #wirock #witron #donate #logistics

Efficiency meets precision – our BEH-RFZ testing station in action! 🔧💡 In our testing station for container rack vehicles (BEH-RFZ), load handling attachments (LAM) are adjusted and tested under ideal conditions. The sensors are individually calibrated to meet our customers' specific requirements – all within a perfectly equipped environment featuring optimal lighting, ample space to move, and all necessary tools. Thanks to the close proximity of all parties involved in the construction process and excellent material availability, errors or defective components can be resolved directly on site. This not only saves time but also significantly reduces the personnel effort required on the construction site. Bålsta in Sweden is home to one of the most innovative retail logistics centers. Together with us, the food retailer Axfood has designed and implemented a state-of-the-art omnichannel distribution center. 💪 💡 The center will supply more than 1,500 stores as well as thousands of end customers via Click & Collect and home delivery, offering a wide range of over 22,000 dry, fresh, and frozen products. One of the most advanced logistics centers in the German-speaking region is taking shape in Wiener Neudorf, Austria. 💪 REWE Group, one of Austria’s leading food retailers, has awarded the WITRON Group the order to design, implement, and service a highly automated logistics center for dry goods. 💡 The facility will utilize WITRON’s OPM (Order Picking Machinery) and CPS (Car Picking System) solutions, enabling fully automated, semi-automated, and store-friendly stacking of cases onto pallets and roll containers. This year, our summer party at the headquaters in Parkstein was once again a great success – eagerly anticipated and joyfully celebrated with many cheerful guests. 🎉 Our colleagues and their families spent a happy afternoon and evening together at Plant 2 North. In our loading yard, there was dancing, laughter, celebration – and of course, plenty of delicious food. 🍔🍻 The great atmosphere was fueled by tasty food, refreshing drinks, and music that got everyone dancing. 💃🕺 Our little guests were not forgotten either: face painting a carousel, bouncy castles, kids’ cocktails, and gifts for every child – there was something for everyone! 🎨🏰🍭 📷 A special highlight once again was our photo booth, capturing many wonderful memories for young and old. Innovation in Frozen E-Commerce: Sustainable. Efficient. Fully Automated. One of the biggest challenges in frozen goods e-commerce? The right cooling – economical, sustainable, and automated. Together with our customer, we developed an entirely new container system – specifically designed for the demands of the frozen sector: 🔹 Insulated reusable containers with frozen lids replace dry ice 🔹 Automated pre-cooling and lid application in the warehouse 🔹 Return and reuse in a closed-loop system 💡 The result: An economically and ecologically sustainable solution – fully integrated into our automated logistics environment. And another highlight: Even frozen containers are loaded in a store-friendly and fully automated way using our COM machine within the OPM system. WI visited our colleagues at HIEBER – Ideas Made of Steel in Wörth an der Donau – and gained an exciting insight into component production! 🔧✨ Since the beginning of the year, HIEBER has been part of the WITRON Group. The company specializes in the manufacture of high-precision assemblies, which play a central role in our customized logistics solutions. From laser cutting and bending to welding and CNC machining – WI were able to get an on-site impression of how raw materials are transformed into high-quality components using precise processes and modern machinery. Particularly impressive: the interplay of experience, technology, and team spirit.   The close collaboration with HIEBER strengthens our value chain, increases flexibility, and enables us to respond to customer requests even faster and more individually.
