Join us Dec. 1-3 in Nashville for the Digiday Programmatic Marketing Summit
Digiday Creator Strategies
Influencer marketing is a $37 billion business and growing. But that growth depends on creators and brands working more closely together and producing collaborations that stand out with audiences. This live virtual event on November 4 at 11 a.m. ET will showcase leaders from across the industry who will open up their influencer marketing playbooks — unpacking how advertisers can buy in without shattering the authenticity crucial to getting consumers to come along for the ride.
Creators, creator company operators and brand executives will detail the dynamics of influencer marketing deals from both sides, break down the mechanics of producing a sponsored video and provide inside looks at what it takes to run a successful creator-led media company today.
Who this event is for:
- Creators looking to strengthen their monetization playbooks
- Brands seeking to step up their creator collaborations
- Agencies connecting their clients with creators who can drive business outcomes
- Tech companies who can enable and support all aspects of the ecosystem
Agenda
Welcome. The editorial team will kick off the day’s sessions.
To the audience, an influencer marketing deal may look like a single sponsored post. Behind that post is a back-and-forth over budgets, briefs, usage rights, and exclusivity, and the brand and the creator don’t always want the same things. In this session, YSL Beaute’s Hadley Musinsky and Night’s Sophie Bressler will take the deal model apart step by step, from the brand’s first brief to the final post, and show how each side handles talent selection, creative alignment, and negotiation.

A sponsored video may last barely a minute, but making one can take around 100 hours of storyboarding, set building, shooting and editing. In this session, creator Grace Wells will use a real brand campaign to show how a sponsored video gets made from start to finish. She’ll also explain why brands and agencies get better work when they bring creators in early to help shape the idea, rather than just to produce the content.
