All commodore needed tools in one place and you can use it as real everyday OS too.
Being based on Mint/Ubuntu and MATE is a plus for me.
No need to gather all commodore staff by yourself to be able to use the iconic C64/128 and 68k Amiga computers.
Desktop color scheme and design is a little to commodore at times but hey! this is the point, isn't it?
Also it is a modern OS capable of everyday use so no need to switch from OS to OS to have your stuff done.
What I don not like is the name: Commodore OS. It is not an OS made by Commodore like is was in the C64 Kernal or the AmigaOS. This is a Linux Port. Like the MS-DOS installed in the Commodore PC-40 was not a Commodore OS.
They should find another (more honest) name.

It just worked out of box. Learning curve is minimal if already have computer experience with Windows, Mac, or Amiga. Support via forum is nice, but youtube and other already written linux help also works on this and seemed to be faster to me (well, since it is already written or video, obviously its faster). I also noticed that more and more of my Windows based applications that I must use are starting to be available for Linux, and fortunately, they work with CommodoreOS Vision 3 with no problems. The latest version finally allows the end use to eliminate the annoying 8-bit noises. Highly recommend to update the OS as soon as it is installed.

This is a great operating system, coming from windozy 11, I have found it quite easy to get the hang of
I am sure anybody who is used to linux will be right at home. It such a gorgeous desktop, fun to use, and very well layed out. Everything is easy to find, and easy to customize. Only downside is I do not think there is much documentation, Based on Debian and Mxlinux, google is a great help, even searching on Commodore os usually returns good results. The Commodore website ,noted above has been amazing, the gentleman responsible for this OS, runs the site, and he has answered my questions within a day. For a free operating system, that is quite amazing. The os comes with almost every application a person needs, which is great, very easy to install to a number of machines and have everything look identical and ready to roll, I had no problems really getting online , adding apps, working with usb sticks right out of the box, for a user who has never used linux before, it says much about how well thought out this OS is.
