Dec 10, 2023 at 10:12 comment added bobflux You should check if the fan is loaded with dust or anything else that can add weight to the fan blades. When that happens, it vibrates, which makes a lot of noise. Perhaps it simply needs cleaning.

Any piping in the living area should be under suction, not pressure, so the correct location for the fan is in the attic or outside the house.
