I have twice now, run into batts in ceilings where there was a batt between truss chords, but nothing over the top of the chord. Since ceiling insulation is where the bulk of the heat loss occurs, getting it deep and getting complete coverage is important. Easy to do with loose fill, whether fibreglass or cellulose. | |
