About Us

The group name “DYK” originates from the initials of its founding members: Dr. Dmitriy Makhnovskiy, Dr. Yujie Zhao, and Mr. Konstantin Gorbatov. While the group name reflects our beginnings, DYK has grown into an evolving network of researchers and collaborators working across multiple disciplines and geographical locations. This dynamic structure allows us to engage in diverse and innovative projects that transcend traditional boundaries.

So far, our project portfolio is modest, but we are confident it will continue to grow as we explore new opportunities and expand our areas of expertise. Our work spans a broad range of fields, with a shared passion for tackling complex scientific and engineering challenges. Current areas of focus include the development of automated measurement rigs for scientific laboratories, advanced microwave measurements, the electrodynamics of composite materials, and magnetic resonance spectroscopy applied to biology and chemistry. Additionally, we are engaged in designing and prototyping custom scientific instruments to meet unique research needs, combining precision, efficiency, and adaptability.

As an open and exploratory team, our interests continue to evolve, often inspired by the interdisciplinary intersections of physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering. We embrace opportunities to collaborate with creative individuals, academic institutions, and research centres worldwide. The DYK team, while non-commercial, prioritizes advancing knowledge, encouraging innovation, and contributing to the global scientific community through our freelance work.

If you are inspired by curiosity and motivated by the pursuit of discovery, we invite you to join us in growing our portfolio and pushing the boundaries of science and technology!
