The football team made its name between the 1970s to 1980s as one of the forces in the [[Selangor|state of Selangor]] that competed in the [[Selangor League]] and the [[Malaysia FAM Cup]] with famous players like [[Mokhtar Dahari]], [[R. Arumugam]], [[K. Rajagopal (footballer)|K.
