    Portion used

A reasonable portion of the original artwork is used in order to avoid misrepresentation of the intended image.

    Low resolution?

This media is of a size and resolution sufficient for accurate identification or representation without being unnecessarily high resolution.

    Purpose of use

The image is used to identify Kaboom (breakfast cereal), a notable product or service. This media is used to help the reader identify the product, assure the readers that they have reached the right article containing critical commentary about that product, and illustrate branding associations of the product or service in a way that words alone could not convey.

    Replaceable?

Because it is packaging artwork there is almost certainly no free equivalent. Any substitute that is not a derivative work would fail to convey the meaning intended, would tarnish or misrepresent its image, or would fail its purpose of identification or commentary.
