Resolution:Updating Committee Charters, December 2025

This proposal has been approved by the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees. It may not be circumvented, eroded, or ignored by Wikimedia Foundation officers or staff nor local policies of any Wikimedia project. Please note that in the event of any differences in meaning or interpretation between the original English version of this content and a translation, the original English version takes precedence.

Whereas, the Board of Trustees is transferring some of the responsibilities of the Community Affairs Committee to the Executive Committee and to the Product & Technology Committee upon the dissolution of the Community Affairs Committee; and

Whereas, there are some additional routine updates to be made to the charters of the Governance Committee and Product & Technology Committee;

Now, therefore, it is:

RESOLVED, that the Board adopts the revised Executive Committee Charter, as set forth below;

RESOLVED, that the Board approves the description of the Community and Affiliates Liaison Role, as set forth below;

RESOLVED, that the Board adopts the revised Product & Technology Committee Charter, as set forth below; and

RESOLVED, that the Board adopts the revised Governance Committee Charter, as set forth below.
