Opening a conversation about risk-taking felt like the right way to mark this year’s International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month. I know the moment well…the mix of fear and exhilaration that comes with taking a leap, whether at work or at home. When people have said to me, “that was bold” or “that was courageous,” it always felt a little surreal… because I was raised to stay safely inside my lane. What changed? Studying women’s history. Learning from mentors who challenged me. Seeing inequities up close. And recognizing opportunities I couldn’t ignore. All of it pushed me to be introspective about the rules I (and other women) grew up with, and shape who I am today. On stage, the honesty from this group was really inspirational. Because no matter who you are, most women know that pause before a leap. My hope is that #ITakeRisks conversations like this remind more women they’re not alone…and that what’s on the other side of that bold or small move can be bigger and better than they imagined. 👏 Grateful to the incredible Rupa Dash of WORLD WOMAN FOUNDATION and Emily Seal (Pierpont) of The Clios #Health and my amazing team at Allison Worldwide for bringing this together.

I am deeply honored and supremely delighted to share that in celebration of International Women’s Month & Day, I was recognized as one of the 2026 Women to Watch by Global Connections for Women Foundation (GC4W) The occasion was marked by a celebratory luncheon at the Harvard Club of New York City where during the Roundtable Power Brunch myself and a collective of incredible women were hosted by GC4W founder Dr. Lilian Ajayi Ore, Ed.D. It was truly inspiring to hear stories, insights, challenges and plans for the future from so many women at different stages of their life and careers. To be at this point of your career and know people continue to be inspired and interested in what you do is both humbling and motivating.
