Today marks an important milestone for CEVA Logistics as we complete the acquisition of FedEx Supply Chain, significantly expanding our contract logistics capabilities in North America. By welcoming nearly 10,000 skilled team members, our combined North American workforce now reaches approximately 20,000 logistics professionals. This transaction adds roughly 34 million square feet of warehouse capacity—nearly tripling the size of our contract logistics footprint in the region and creating a robust operational network of more than 240 locations, including 150 warehouses. Bringing together FedEx Supply Chain’s deep expertise in warehousing, fulfillment and reverse logistics with CEVA’s global multimodal network allows us to deliver truly integrated, end-to-end solutions for customers navigating today’s most complex supply chains. We are also proud to welcome Scott Temple to CEVA Logistics, who will lead our expanded Contract Logistics operations in North America. Under his leadership, our priority is operational continuity, investing in our people and accelerating innovative solutions for our customers. How do you manage a complex heavy-lift operation to move an 800-metric-ton crane from site to sea and safely deliver it to its final destination? This summer in northeastern Italy, CEVA Logistics | Fagioli successfully completed the relocation of a Goliath crane from Val da Rio in Chioggia to Monfalcone. The 800-metric-ton crane was prepared and positioned for transport, moved to the quay, and carefully loaded and secured onto a barge for its sea journey from Chioggia to Monfalcone. The operation continued with the unloading and final positioning of the crane, bringing together expertise in road transport, heavy lifting, and maritime logistics within a single, coordinated project. The project was delivered through detailed planning, technical expertise, and operational experience at every stage. Above all, this successful relocation stands as a powerful demonstration of what can be achieved through outstanding teamwork and the shared commitment of everyone involved. Building on a collaboration that began in 2008, CEVA will continue operating Orange Polska’s central distribution center in Ołtarzew alongside seven regional facilities. We have expanded our Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL) partnership with JLR across France and the Benelux through a new three-year agreement. Under the contract, CEVA becomes JLR’s exclusive FVL provider in France and scales direct distribution to 100% of the 7,000 annual vehicle volumes arriving via the Port of Zeebrugge. Building on a successful decade-long relationship, the unified network links manufacturing in the UK and Slovakia through key hubs in Zeebrugge and Rotterdam to streamline deliveries. The operation accelerates decarbonization by deploying Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) biofuel paired with CEVA’s mass-balance approach, significantly cutting CO₂ emissions while maintaining operational scale and agility.
