Access {% data variables.copilot.copilot_student_short %}

  1. Navigate to https://github.com/settings/education/benefits.

    If you are not yet a verified student, click Start an application and complete the verification process.

  2. Under "Free {% data variables.product.github %} developer resources for students and teachers", click Learn more.

  3. Follow the prompts to activate {% data variables.copilot.copilot_student_short %}, configuring the {% data variables.product.prodname_copilot_short %} use policies to meet your needs.
