But in attached link it is stated that .db file is supported as issue comment attachment.

GitHub does not allow .db files (or other binary database files) to be uploaded directly in issue or discussion comments

So there’s nothing wrong with your file, GitHub just won’t accept it there.

As an alternative you can zip the .db file and upload the .zip. That usually works.
