Verification was rejected without reason

Hi everyone,

I submitted a GitHub student verification a few days ago. Since my junior high school does not provide an edu email address and is not listed on GitHub, I completed the verification with my personal email address and was subsequently rejected. The reasons field was blank, so I have no idea what went wrong. I tried revising my profile and payment information by following the community guidelines, issues and re-applied, but my application was still rejected without any stated reason.

Most likely your application was rejected because GitHub Student verification doesn’t reliably support junior high / middle school students, especially when:

• your school isn’t listed in GitHub’s database
• you don’t have a school-issued email
• your proof documents didn’t match what they expect

The blank “reason” field is normal — their system often doesn’t show details.

What to do:
Don’t keep reapplying. Open a GitHub Education support ticket and ask for manual review. Attach clear proof like a student ID, report card, or enrollment letter showing your name, school, and current date.

Actually, I just created an issue via the link on the support page. GitHub does not accept any new student verification requests through this channel, nor do they allow students to submit school information for addition to the database directly.(English isnt my first language so I translated by AI)

Sorry unfortunately if it's not listed in the Github's database there is no way that the process can move forward. Please looking into the Github documentation. But you can try to use a school ID, your class schedule and receipt with your name on it.
