My task is unable to see the GitHub action logs, and this is only the case for this one task; all other tasks are working normally.

It could be due to the large size of the log file or long single line output. Could you give some more info about the actions file to see how the logging has been implemented.

I checked the workflow YAML, and I think this is very likely a GitHub log viewer rendering issue rather than the job itself failing.

• Your Linux-DCU / Build job runs bash -x inside docker exec (and the test job also uses bash -x), which can generate extremely large / very verbose logs. Github's log UI is known to struggle with very large logs or grouped output.

• You may try downloading the logs instead of viewing them in the browser
• (gear menu -> Download log archive) or Here
• I checked the raw job log blob, and the problem is not just “large logs”; it’s that the log has very long lines (multiple timestamped messages and full clang++ commands/diagnostics concatenated into single lines, plus ANSI control codes). That commonly breaks/slowdowns the Actions log UI.
• You can reduce the log size by avoiding bash -x for the entire build/test script, avoiding very long single-line outputs or by splitting the build into smaller steps.

I clicked "view raw logs," but it displayed "Failed to generate URL to download logs." When I clicked "download log archive," the downloaded archive didn't contain the text file for this task.

How did you find the raw logs? Also, in practice, the logs occasionally output correctly, which is quite confusing to me.

Hi,

My bad the link is Azure blob link and apparently expires after a minute.

I went to the failed build section of the actions page "Build and test" and clicked the gear icon and then view raw logs.

You can also download the log file with CLI

Thanks, I solved the log not displaying issue by removing the extra -x.
