Hi everyone,

My previous GitHub Education academic verification has expired and been revoked.I received an official notification:"Your academic status requires reverification to continue your GitHub Education benefits and restore Copilot and Partner offers."
However, when I click the "Start an application" button, it only redirects me to the page: https://github.com/pricing
I have no idea how to complete the re-verification process correctly.Could anyone kindly guide me through the proper steps to reapply for academic verification and restore my Copilot benefits?

When your GitHub Education verification expires, you usually need to submit a new application to confirm that you are still eligible for student or academic benefits. If the "Start an application" button redirects you to the pricing page, it often means the application link did not load correctly or your session is not properly connected to the Education portal.

Try the following steps:

1. Go directly to the GitHub Education application page
   https://education.github.com/pack

2. Make sure you are logged into the correct GitHub account that previously had the benefits.

3. Click "Get Student Benefits" or "Renew benefits" (if visible).

4. Submit updated proof of academic status, such as:
   • Student ID with expiration date
   • Official enrollment letter
   • Transcript showing current term
   • Institutional email verification

5. If the page still redirects to pricing, try:
   • Logging out and logging back in
   • Opening the link in an incognito/private browser window
   • Trying a different browser or device
   • Clearing cookies for github.com

6. If the issue persists, contact GitHub Education support through the support link on the Education site and mention that the renewal button redirects incorrectly to the pricing page.

In most cases, re-verification restores Copilot and partner benefits once the application is approved.
